Book Cover and Layout

I designed a book about Barbara Stauffacher Solomon, drawing inspiration from the colors she frequently used in her work, like black, white, red, orange, blue, and green. I decided to incorporate purple into the design as it blends two of those colors. The book cover features her first name in bold letters with varying saturations, creating a gradient effect. My goal was to make the design modern, bold, and easy to read while capturing the essence of her unique style. I incorporated images of her work that I found online to bring the design to life.
